2012-02-02 - Thank you for all your kind words and support this past year. I wanted to let you know that I am now back in the office. It will be part time to start and gradually building to full time hours. Though it’s been a hard year, it is great to come back to work. Your support and kind words have meant a lot and helped in my recovery. I look forward to this year with great anticipation, not only for being able to work, but the anticipation and joy that is to come with be being grandparents. Both Mike and I can’t wait for May to arrive, both of our daughters will be increasing their own families in May. A sincere thank you to all my family and friends who have helped immensely this past year. Without all their support, I don’t think I would be where I am today. Once again I humbly thank you for all the kindness and support you have shown Mike and myself through the past trying year.

2011-12-18 - Merry Christmas to all of the communities we serve and the families that have entrusted us to care for and honor their loved one. We wish each and everyone of you a safe and happy holiday. We know this year has been a tumultuous one for all. It has been the year of “Firsts” for your family. Each holiday and family occasion this year has begun with missing someone close and dear to our hearts. Our family here at Central Funeral Homes truly understand how hard this can be, and would like to show that we care and think about each one of you and your family that called on us this year. 2011-05-31 - Congratulations to Ruth Budgell-Walsh. Ruth has begun working for Bishop’s Falls Funeral Home this week. Ruth is from Bishop’s Falls and is a member of the Salvation Army Church there. She is very involved with her church and community. She is married to Joe Walsh. Her children are Tony and Keith Budgell, who both live in Bishop’s Falls, and Todd and Chad Budgell who are living in Alberta. We are so proud to have Ruth working for us. This is a new direction in her life and one that I am positive she will succeed at. Please if you see her say hello or you can show your support by dropping by 306 Main St to say hello.

2011-04-07 - Thank You for such a successful Grand Opening. Mike and myself are humbled by the out pouring of support shown to us Monday night. It was a pleasure to reacquaint, and meet new friends. A special thank you to our staff, who did all the work behind the scenes, and helped to make everyone feel comfortable and welcomed. It was truly a grand event, made only possible by the community and how you showed your support for us. Thank you to all who came and those that called to wish us well. We will be hiring an employee in the next week or so, and the building will then be open full time during the day.
