HAYWARD F. BURTON
1929 – 2016

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hayward F. Burton announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on March 30, 2016 at the age of 86. Hayward was predeceased by his parents Fred & Minnie Burton; first wife Elizabeth Pittman; his daughter Juanita Burton and his brother Pearce Burton. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Effie Burton; children-Gordan (Dianne) Burton, Glen (Karen) Burton, Scott Burton, Velma Burton (Roger Slade) and Pauline Wiseman. Also leaving to mourn are his brother Lloyd; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; stepchildren-Norman Mitchell, Hayward (Sherry) Mitchell, Richard (Cathy) Mitchell, Judy (Howard) Penney; 4 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild. Pastor William Harnum will conduct the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church in Robert’s Arm on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery in Robert’s Arm. Pallbearers are Dino Burton-nephew, Kenny Hancock-friend, Joey Burton-cousin, Lorne Strickland-friend, Rex Short-friend and Ambrose Short-brother-in-law.
