Condolence: Margaret, Sandra, Myra and Bram's extended family. Shocked and saddened to hear of Bram's passing. I spent quite a lot of time with Bram during the past few years in his role as maintenance chairperson of our senior's home and affordable housing units here and my role as chairperson of the board. I also spent a number of years with him as a member of our Active Living for Seniors organization. He also often talked to me about our town while I was mayor of the town. He always showed great affection for the beauty and progress of our town. Bram always kept up to date on local, provincial and federal politics which we often talked about in morning chats at the housing office. He was above all a sincere and dedicated Christian to his beloved church and God. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Condolence From: Kent Oxford
Condolence: I was a young boy growing up on Little Bay Islands when I first met Mr. Rice. He worked many years on the ferry with my Dad. Later I would come to call him Bram. I remember him testifying in our little church on the island. I remember his visits to the home of my parents, Bob & Maxine, and to my grandparents Tom & Cressie. Most of all I will remember his words to me on one particular occasion: "Kent, my boy, don't ever let anything hold you back." Well Bram, I have done my best. We'll talk it over in the bye and bye.

Condolence: To: Margaret, Myra, Sandra, Marie and families So saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Bram but at the same time we rejoice that another great Christian man is now enjoying the presence of the Lord. He, indeed, lived his testimony everywhere he went. He left no one in doubt about his living to serve his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The earthly passing leaves a void even tho you know where he is right now. May the peace of God be your comforter in those days. Cherish the beautiful memories that you made down through the years for they will bring smiles to your hearts and faces in days to come. God Bless you all.

Sandra, I believe I only met your Dad once or twice, but I know that his values and character live on in the lives of his children and grandchildren. He, no doubt, filled a special role for each of you and as you gather together to mourn your loss and celebrate his life and his eternal reward, I know that your collective memories will bring comfort and joy in the midst of sorrow.

Condolence: Margaret, Myra, Sandra and extended family I was shocked to learn of Bram's passing. He was one in a million, always smiling and ready to help. My memories go way back when our families would visit. We always looked forward to seeing Bram and Margaret. My Dad loved to return to his roots especially to go out in boat. Our home in Grand Falls-Windsor was alway a stop over for anyone going to see a doctor or travelling to St. John's. Bram's work took him to many places and he always had a story to tell. He will be greatly missed but he will live on in our hearts.
