Raymond George Pitcher
July 16th, 1934 - March 1st, 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond George Pitcher announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Healthcare Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor on March 1st, 2017 at the age of 82. Raymond was a member of the ELKS. Raymond retired from Abitibi Price in 1989. He is predeceased by his spouse Myrtle Etheridge, brothers Cornelius (Sonny), Cyril (Sash), Walter and Tony, and son Garry Etheridge. Raymond leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sister Winnie McKenzie and sister in law Iris Pitcher; sons Raymond Griffin (Bernadette) of Grand Falls-Windsor, Dennis Etheridge of Grand Falls-Windsor, William Etheridge (Shirley) of Mount Pearl, Paul Etheridge of St. John’s, David Etheridge of St. John’s, Christopher Etheridge of St. John’s; daughters Bonnie Beresford (Patrick) of Grand Falls-Windsor, and Sister Marie Etheridge. Also leaving to mourn are 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a large circle of nieces and nephews, and his special friends at Kelly’s Corner. Reverend Randy Lockyer will conduct the Funeral Service at Central Funeral Homes Chapel on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes. Reception will be held at the Elks Club following the service. All are welcome to attend.
