Condolences

Condolence From: Carolyn Dulal (Pitcher)
Condolence: It sure was a shock to hear of Uncle Ray's passing. I seemed to think he would always be there. He was a strong quiet man and a great father figure. He was my Dad's brother and like a father when I was growing up. We lived with my grandmother when I was little and he was very kind to me. I remember sitting on his knee and him talking and playing with me. He was such a sweet man that I will never forget. He used to say he would never make it off the "Rock". I don't know if he did later in life, but I'm sure he made it to heaven. I love you Uncle Ray and pray I will see you one day.

Condolence From: Renee Etheridge
Condolence: As with all who knew him, I am saddened at Ray's sudden passing. Ray may have been a man of few words, but his presence was comforting and his laugh infectious. I have many fond memories of Ray, especially when he, nan, Bonnie and Pat came across the pond to visit. He was always an excellent sport!

Ray's kindness is what I will always remember most, and is the reason he will have a steadfast place in my heart. I hope that he has now found eternal peace. I also hope that he and dad have resumed their daily chats. Most of all I hope that he, and all that have gone before us, know what a void they have left and how much they are loved and missed.

Condolence From: Anna-Marie E Wells
Condolence: Where to start! I'm still in shock! The hospital should have kept Ray in with the fluid around his heart but don't get me started on the GFW Hospital with no beds available. Ray was such a sweet ad caring man. One time I couldn't reach mom's friend, Clara who was out of town and and I called Ray. He got hold of all the Bingo group and never missed an afternoon visiting my Mom. They grew up on Silva Rd , him on River View , a group of young kids talking on her Mother's porch and through the years they would gather , especially in the summer with no Bingo , on Mom's patio at Brown's Ave for something to do . Mom, Dad and Ray always joked at Bingo and after Dad passed, Ray always got Ice for Mom due to her leg problems and other women during break and saved Mom peppermints when candy were put out. They always joked bout Mom saying. " Here , Ray this is for Friday": Mom always gave him money to buy her card on Tuesday for Friday"" They even joked about it this passed Tuesday and kidded, what if one of us dies before then." Who knew! My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the Pitcher and Etheridge families on such a loss. Ray was such a sweet man! Friday will be a hard day as Tick will be missed and loved by a lot of people. From Anna Marie E Wells , Seminole, Fl an Trish Power, GFW NF

Condolence: To rays family from his girls at Kellys korner. We are devastated to learn of rays passing. Me, Lorraine and patsy loved him dearly. In he would walk around 3 in the afternoon and 9 in the night. Just to see how we were doing , check the cooler to see if they were filled but mostly just to stay and keep us company so we weren't alone. To say he wad an angel wac an understatement. We all loved to see him and looked forward to it. Don't know how we're gonna get through the nights with out him. Condolences to his family. Fly high with the Angels our beautiful Ray. Your gonna be missed by us so much. rip
