I am so sorry to learn of Barb's and your mother's passing. When we were young, we played lots both in Little Bays Islands and St. John's. I could lie and say that she was like a big sister to me, as she was born just over two months sooner than I. But I will say the truth and say that she was both a cousin and close friend as we grew up, or at least got older.
It was nice to see Barb again in Riverview last year. Our last shared words were let's get together sometime. UnfortunatelY we did not.
