Condolence From: Sheila Kelly-Blackmore
Condolence: Gerry and I met many years back In a swimming group in GFW. Over the years when we would meet in church or on the street we would always share news of what was happening in our lives. We'd laugh, share our stories, and mutual respect for each other. While not often we'd see each other in recent years my good memories of a very strong, dynamic and special woman remain.

Condolence: To the Family and dear friends of Geraldine,

I am so sorry to learn of Geraline's passing. She was an exemplary woman of extraordinary dignity and strength. My memories of her go back a long way, early 70s; and we maintained an acquaintanceship ever since until we left GFW.

Please accept my sincere sympathy. God bless all of you.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of knowing Gerry, sadly, a short time. My mother, Bernadette, became very smitten on this beautiful lady with whom she grew very close to over the past several years. While my mom knew her longer than this, she grew closer to her in this time frame. She considered Gerry like a second mother so needless to say I heard lots about her!

I met Gerry for the first time many years ago (maybe 15-20 years) at a social for the parish. I remember seeing her at various functions and hearing my mom talk about how she needed to contact Gerry about something for the church. I moved out, visited home and would always manage to ask my Mom "How's that lady doing, Gerry?" For some reason I always asked about her. Although my first encounter with her was brief, there was something about her, a genuineness that always made me think of her.

During the past year I visited Gerry frequently and got to know her on a more personal level. I discovered this woman was a fountain of information; educated, classy and very witty! She boasted about her flower gardens from the past and showed me pictures; you could tell it was a pass time she thoroughly enjoyed. She thought very highly of her children and beamed when talking about her grandchildren and great grandchildren; most recently she particularly loved seeing videos of family from away!

I am terribly sorry for the family members of this remarkable woman. The sadness of losing a mother, grandmother, great grandmother of her stature is hard to endure. My thoughts are prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to each and all as you mourn the death of your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend !
I have lost a dear friend and soul-mate in Gerry Colbourne -Molloy and though I need to weep her loss....and I did ...I have many memories to hold and bless me .Thank you Gerry for your trust in me !

However, in my sadness I need some consolation today and I find glimpses in the poem by John O'Donohue.

" Let us not look for you only in memory...where we would grow lonely without you....
You, (Gerry) would want us to find you in Presence...
Beside us when beauty brightens ... when kindness
flows... and music echoes eternal tone....
when orchids brighten the earth,and
when darkest winter has turned to spring...
May this dark grief flow with love...
In every heart that loves you.....
And may you continue to inspire us .... (John O'Donohue ) in Death as in Life .
Rest in peace now my friend !
