Condolence: To Geraldine & Family How saddened we were when we received the news of Cliff's passing! Geraldine as we spoke with you today, we sense your pain and loss. Cliff was a good neighbour. He always made us feel part of the family, whenever you cooked anything special we would always be invited to share with you. We laughed together, had great conversations and prayed together. Geraldine, we think he put you under some stress sometimes, cause he would invite us over right out of the blue, but it was always a pleasant time whenever we went to your home. It didn't matter to him how many were coming over. His face always lit up whenever the grand children arrived and he was very proud of each of them. We saw that Cliff was a very hard working man and a great provider for his family. We were hoping to be there to join in the celebration of his life, but it just didn't work out. Our hearts and prayers are with you today as you go through this valley of sorrow. Jesus said, "Let not your hearts be troubled, believe in God, believe also in me." Thats what we encourage you all to do in these days...to believe and trust in the Lord Jesus, for He cares for you. May you sense His presence during this very difficult time. God bless you all Majors Bob & Cassie Kean Badger's Quay

Condolence: To: Geraldine & Family as well as all Cliff's brothers, sisters & grandkids We are so deeply saddened to hear of Cliff's sudden passing. He was a good friend to us & the entire Springdale Community. He was loved alike by both the young & old. His sense of humor was appreciated by all of us. His endless hours of volunteer work especially with the Air Cadets lead many an air cadet to a lifetime career which they owe to Cliff. Cliff was always there to encourage all the kids to aim for something worthwhile in life & never give up. He encouraged them to set their goals & not to give up until they reached them. He was such an important role model to all of them & no doubt will be dearly missed by everyone. Cliff worshipped his family & grandkids& worked hard to help make life better for them & he was able to carry out his dream to do that. So, to all of you, hold on to every special memory that he has given all of us & know that he is up there resting happily now, perhaps making plans for another big project but most of all being our own personal guarding angel trying to lead us all along life's best path. Rest in peace, our dear friend, Cliff! We will miss you dearly!

Condolence From: Jerry Brett
Condolence: I came to know Cliff though my involvement with Air Cadets as a parent of two children and later, since 2000, as Lions club representative for the squadron sponsor committee and as represntative with the provincial Air Cadet League. Cliff was not only a father of his own family but a father figure to an extended family of Air Cadets. During his 27 year tenure as Commanding Officer, Cliff guided and influenced the lives of hundreds of youth. Under his steady gaze, he sent them on career paths they might never have taken on their own. Cliff was a builder of houses and lives. He molded young lives with the same passion and skill which he gave to his job working with wood. Cadets are his handiwork. The results are for all to see in their achievments. Some have prominant careers in the Armed Forces and aviation. All have benefited from the sense of pride and purpose which he instilled in them. Over the years, I saw Cliff's dedication in action, turning a rough hewn recruit into a polished and shining example of an Air Cadet graduate. Cliff earned the respect of his officers and colleages. Salvation Army Captain Gladys Osmond, the much beloved grandmother to the Armed Forces, member of the Order of Canada, spoke highly of Cliff's role as a youth leader. I also want to thank Geraldine, Cliff's wife, and his family, who were his staunch supporters. For Cliff and the Harris's, Air Cadets was very much a family and team effort. Cliff has now answered his final roll call with a resounding "Present". The reply, I am sure, will be an equally resounding "Well done, thou good and faithful servant ".

Condolence: We were very saddened to hear the news of Cliff's passing. Our memories of Cliff include his very skilled woodworking, along with his obvious love for his family and also his countless hours of dedication to the Air Cadet program in our area. His great sense of humour made him popular with both the adults and youth of Springdale. We will certainly miss his regular visits at Warr's Castle, as he was always good for a laugh! We are thinking of his family and know that this will be a difficult time for you all.... Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: Geraldine & family, Our hearts were deeply saddened today on hearing about Cliff's passing. We first met Cliff when our girls became involved with Air Cadets. We had a lot of respect for this man who gave of his time and talents so freely to be a roll model for hundreds of children. Once we met Cliff it was as if he had been lifelong friends. Enjoyed,so much, his many stories he told and his sense of humour. We know you have many, many wonderful memories. Hold them close to your heart and may they be your comfort in the days ahead. Praying that God will bring peace to your hearts now and in the coming days. Cliff is now in the presence of the Lord with no more problems and health issues. God bles you each one.

Condolence From: Mrs. Vera Elliott
Condolence: Dear Family, I am sadden to learn that you are mourning the loss of your beloved Clifford. Please accept my condolences at this time. May your many shared family memories of him bring comfort to all. It also saddens our loving Creator Jehovah God because death is an enemy that brings pain and emptiness to each family it touch. For that reason Psalm 34:18 reminds us he is "close" to those that grieve and feel brokenhearted. How heartwarming Job 14:13-15 and John 5:28-29 reassures us that Jehovah has memories of our loved ones whose lives he longs to restore to a garden-like paradise earth. With his son Jesus Christ ruling paradise earth all effects of pain, sickness and death will be gone, a guarantee at Revelation 21:3-4.
