1930 - 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kenneth George Curtis announce his passing at the age of 86. Kenneth was a member of the Badger Volunteer Fire Department. He retired from Abitibi in 1995. Kenneth was predeceased by his mother Nellie Curtis, father John Curtis, sister Gwenlyn Colbourne, sister Christine White, and a circle of nieces and nephews. Kenneth leaves to mourn, his sisters: Jane (Mel), Violet, Gertie (Gord); brothers: John (Alice), Clayton (Barb), Tom, and a large circle of nieces and nephews. Pastor Melvin Power will conduct the funeral service at the Pentecostal Church in Badger on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017. Interment will be at the Badger Community Cemetery. Pallbearers are Tom Loder (Brother), Clayton Loder (Brother), John Loder (Brother), Jordan White (Nephew), Ken Colbourne (Nephew), Joe Colbourne (Nephew). Honorary pallbearers are Joshua Gillard (Nephew) and Joe Roberts (Friend). Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
