The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Harold Underhill can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Brother

My brothers and sister were not my playmates but they are my family.

When I was ten years old, Junior stopped at my home in Aylmer, Ontario, parking his big truck on the street outside our home.  He was on his way to Windsor with a delivery and had stopped to say hello to our Mother.  I was there listening to their conversation and when it came time for him to leave he asked if I wanted to go for a ride.  WOW!  I would not only get to ride in a transport truck but with my brother.  How high up it felt to sit there with him. On return he dropped me back off home and said a quick goodbye to our mother.  I don't remember our conversation on this journey but I still to this day remember that feeling.

It's funny the small things you remember that are important.  My older brother, me and his truck.

I know in my heart that our Mother is once again glad to see him.

love Linda
