Obituary for Albert George Spencer

Albert George Spencer
George Albert Spencer
April 8, 1939 - March 25, 2017

George Albert Spencer was born on August 8, 1939 to Hannah & Watson Spencer in South Brook where they lived at that time. George and his family moved to Springdale at a young age and remained there until 1957. With the passing of his mother they moved back to South Brook.
George left home at the age of 18 and moved to Toronto, Ontario where he worked has an orderly for a few years and then worked on the railway.
George was married and divorced. He remained living in Ontario till 2002 when he moved home to stay. Shortly after George moved home he became severely ill. Due to this illness George moved to Baie Verte to a seniors home in March of 2005 until April of 2008 when he moved into the Valley Vista till March 25th when he went to his heavenly home.
George spent his time in Valley Vista enjoying the company of other residents, watching TV and doing his puzzles. But his favorite time spent was when some church would have their weekly service; he would most likely testify of the goodness of God and to request “How Great Thou Art”
George is predeceased by both his parents and grandparents; and his two sisters - Ellie and Jean
George leaves to mourn: his sisters - Mamie White, Muriel Hancock, Maude Dicks (Norman), Ina Adams (Perry); and his only brother Ralph Spencer.
He will be missed by a large circle of nephews, nieces and friends.
