OTTO REGINALD WHELAN
1954 – 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Otto Reginald Whelan announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on April 20, 2017 at the age of 63. Otto worked at Sunrise Fish Farms. He was predeceased by his parents Eli & Maude Whelan and brothers - Nelson Whelan and William Fifield. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Ruby Whelan of Pilley’s Island and daughter April Osmond (Hughie) of Robert’s Arm. Also leaving to mourn are his brothers-Raymond (Greta), Gerald (Jeanette), Edward (Dulcie), Frank, Floyd; sister Viola (Chesley) and sister-in-law Faye. Majors Arley & Darlene Masters will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Pilley’s Island on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Pilley’s Island Cemetery. Pallbearers are Edward Whelan (nephew), Paul Fifield (nephew), Kyle Gray (co-worker), T.J. Johansen (boss), Jamie Fifield (nephew), and Gerald Burton (friend). Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
