Condolence: Whalen Family and friends of Otto. A great man has past and we are all proud to have known Otto. A great friend and co-worker during the 1980's at Battle Harbour, Labrador. Always soft spoken, strong and light hearted, a respectful person who enjoyed life. Our families thoughts and deepest condolences are shared at this difficult time.

Condolence: Ruby and the Whalen Family ,
I was lost for words when a call came from Labrador tonight on Otto's passing. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time.
We had the privilege of sharing our summers with him when he came to work at Battle Harbour so many years ago. He was loyal to my father and did every job with perfection. He could be so funny and kept a eye out for us as well. He was the main man on that room and on the water for a number of years.
A kind gentleman who worked very hard and brought a smile to us all.A good buddy .
Take care .
