Walter M Clarke
1925 - 2017


Walter Milton Clarke, passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Regional Healthcare Centre at the age of 91. Predeceased by his parents Lavinia and Augustus Clarke. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife of 61 years, Gladys, brothers Eric (Dorothy), Roy (Betty), Arnold (Joyce) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. Throughout his life Walter was active in many organizations, he was a lifetime member of The Newfoundland Amateur Hockey Association, a member of Rotary International, President of the Grand Falls Curling Club, a Grand Falls Town Councillor, a member of the Newfoundland Labrador Teacher’s Association, a member of the United Church Men’s Choir and a MUN Alumnus. No flowers by request, donations can be made to The Children’s Wish Foundation or any charity of choice.

Thank you to those who have reached out in many caring ways during this time of sorrow. Your kindness is appreciated and will always be remembered.
