MYRTLE SARAH CROUCHER
1927 – 2017
Myrtle was born in Springdale on April 19, 1927 to Dorman & Louise Huxter. She lost her mother early in life and was raised by her Aunt Maud Grant in South Brook. She met Lloyd Croucher and they were married November 27, 1943. They had 67 years together having 9 children, losing one in childbirth. She lost Lloyd in 2010 when he died from cancer. Before he passed both of them gave their life to Jesus Christ. In 2010 she moved into the Valley Vista Seniors Home where she spent her last years. At the great ago of 90 years she succumbed to the dreadful disease of Alzheimer’s. On June 2, 2017 @ 3 pm, surrounded by her family she went to her heavenly home. Leaving to mourn her daughter Vivian (Cyril) Miller; sons, Ford (Helen), Boyce (Netta), Jerry (Judy), Burneal (Norma), Roger (Verna) and Gary (Sue); brother, Frank (Phyllis) Huxter; 23 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. Myrtle was predeceased by her parents Dorman & Louise Huxter; husband Lloyd; daughter Flossie and son Ernie; brother Herbert Huxter and sister Jennie Croucher. Pastor Kerry Northcotte will conduct the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church in South Brook on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery in South Brook. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
