Walter (Gator) George Fewer
1959 - 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Walter (Gator) George Fewer announce his passing at the Health Science Center in St. John’s NL, on July 3rd, 2017 at the age of 58. He was a member of Exploits Valley Jazz Band, 2 BN Royal Newfoundland Regiment B Company Band and was retired from his work at the Nexen Oil Sands and Abitibi Bowater. He is predeceased by his parents Leo and Sheila Fewer. Walter leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter Ilse (R.J.) from Brampton, ON. Along with his brothers, Ed (Peggy), Glen (Shirley), his sister Colleen Pinsent (Dave), best friend Bev (Dave) Burke, nieces and nephews, as well as a large circle of family and friends. The funeral service will at the Central Funeral Homes Chapel on July 6th, 2017. Interment will be at the Interfaith Cemetery. Urn bearer is Ilse Fewer.
