Obituary for Rankin Joseph Lane
RANKIN J. LANE
1940-2017
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rankin Lane announce his passing at his home in Grand Falls-Windsor, on August 14th at the age of 77. Rankin retired as a public servant of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. He was predeceased by father, Joseph, mother, Priscilla, sister, Marilyn, and brother, Ken. Left with fond and loving memories is daughter Kimberly (Adrian), of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland. Also leaving to mourn are grandchildren, Ben and Ryan McDonald, sisters, Linda (nephews Quinton, Lane) and Carol (nephew Todd). Father William Pierce will conduct the funeral service at the Central Funeral Homes Chapel on August 17th at 11:00 a.m. Donations can be made to the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
