Condolence From: Bea & John Keaveny
Condolence: Dear Ann, Denise, Robert and families, you have all been in our thoughts these passed few weeks. We know from Sarah what a wonderful outpouring of love you have all had since Youngie's passing. Going through the grieving process is lightened by sharing the happy memories of good times shared with family and friends. Our time in Grand Falls was special to all of us because of the friends we made. Remembering the exciting snowmobile trips, jigs dinners, Bullhorn, Youngies tales of his bear encounter, his excellent eye sight when he could spot a moose before anyone else did, the list goes on and on. You have a treasure trove of wonderful memories to hold on to, it's fair to say you all have 'lived large' because you had the love of a very special husband, father and grandfather. Missing Youngie is hard, but know he will live forever in the hearts of all who knew him. We send our love to each of you, our door is always open in PEI, Friends are forever! Bea, John and the Keaveny family xo 💕💕

Condolence From: Bill Giffin
Condolence: Owen left a lasting impression on me. He likely did with everyone he met. He (and Ann) always made me feel so welcome when I visited. I regret never having been able to take him up on his offer for a fishing or snowmobile trip. I'm willing to bet there would be many who would tell me I really missed out. Denise captured it so well in the service, a real tribute to the man he was. How he left everyone with a smile feeling a little better about themselves and life after meeting him.

Condolence From: Juliette Hunter
Condolence: To Mrs Young, Denise, Robert and family: Where does one start to find words to describe someone never at a loss of kind ones for everyone he knew? I will start by remembering the way he would greet me every time: "There's our pet....,Juuuuuuiette". I will always treasure that, and never forget the Christmas he once took me to Gander, through a horrible snow storm, to catch a flight that I honestly thought I would miss. Then there's the countless evenings of story-telling, and how he was so very interested in everything going on in my life, wondering if I was happy and doing what I loved. He just had that special way of making you feel he had your full attention, no matter how many people were in the room with you, and there were often many. I agree with Marlene, he was a Dad to all of us, and our hearts break to know we'll never have another chance to share tales, short and tall, and see his mischievous smile. I am so very sorry for your loss. I wish I could be there to hug you in person. Love and hugs, Juliette xoxo

Condolence: To the Young family; We like many are saddened by the passing of Youngie and there are countless friends whom mourn along with you. Owen was not only a friend but a mentor to many that looked up to him with respect. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but the great impact he had on family and friends and the community at large. I readily remember a conversation he and I had many years ago when he said,” your success will be in always doing your homework before you commit to something,” and as well, never forget where you came from.” Owen and his firm achieved unexpected professional success throughout the business world not only in our Town or Region, but our Province and as a family you can all stand proud of his success. Our thoughts are forever with you. Bless you all.

Condolence: We were so saddened to hear of Youngie's passing. Youngie was just a wonderful, kind, loving human being. He was a great husband, Dad, and grandfather. We were so lucky to be his neighbor for many years and have so many memories of good times and hilarious stories he told, which are still retold to this day. Cataracts games wouldn't have been nearly as much fun without Youngie sitting in front of us. He made such a positive impact on everyone including us. We know he will be dearly missed by his wonderful family, and will definitely be missed by us.
