Condolence: I wish to send condolences to the family of Bob Molloy on his passing. I think the last time I spoke to Bob was last summer when he lost his car keys at the Mall and I gave him a ride home so he could pick up his extra key and brought him back to his car. I did see him from time to time walking his dog. Bob was well known in local hockey and in the music band he was a part of for many years. Rest in Peace, Bob... God Bless...

Condolence: To the family and friends of Mr. Molloy, please accept my deepest condolences. Mr. Molloy was a good friend of my father, Alphonsus Hennessey and they played together in the Commanders Orchestra. I recall as a child visiting his house as they shared their love of big band music! The obituary and video are a beautiful tribute and certainly show a life well lived. Grand Falls-Windsor has lost another fine member of the community as have the wonderful animals that he loved so dearly. God speed Mr. Molloy.

Condolence: Dear Anne,John, Michael, Maureen, Patricia,Peggy, and Kathy.
I was saddened to hear of your Uncle Bob's passing, although I knew how sick he was.
I knew Bob through the Royal NL Regiment B Coy Garrison Band which we both played in, in the 1960's, and every now and then when the Commanders would call me to play with them ,so I saw just how versatile a musician Bob really was.
Great days of good music in Grand Falls and Bob was in the thick of it!
Going from playing sax in that great dance band,to playing double bass in a military band is not easy and requires some serious versatility, and talent!
I also knew "Ace", as he was affectionately known by a few of us,thorough the Cataracts fraternity,as a great GM / Manager of the team.
Bob really was the Con Smythe or the Milt Schmidt of that team.
Many times he paid for hotel rooms on the road trips, out of his own pocket until the nest week's gate in GF could reimburse him.
He made Grand Falls a much better place through his community spirit, talents, and contributions.
He had a wry sense of humour and was always glad to see you no matter where you ran into him.I had many laughs with him, over the years, but I will never forget being "held over" at the Holiday Inn in St.John's on a Cataract road trip in 1974,when he encouraged me to go up on stage and play piano and tell a few jokes, during their amateur night!
Bob was good at seizing and seeing the moment.
May God Bless you Bob,and May God Bless your family in their hour of sorrow.
Sincerely,
Frank.

Condolence: Over the years I had many chats with Bob while he was out walking his dog or on his way home from the mall with groceries. He was great friends with my parents...Harry and Mary Snow, and through them, I came to know Bob. He was a kind, gentle soul, who spoke of his animals and hockey and enjoyed his walks. He will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him...rest high on the mountain.

Condolence: A very sad day for Bob's family and this community. His love and dedication to his beloved Red Sox, Bruins and more importantly his Grand Falls Cataracts is unrivaled. A great man that we should all strive to emulate. A terrible loss for us all.
