EDWIN THOMAS LYVER
1942 - 2017
Edwin Thomas Lyver, 74, of Grand Falls-Windsor N.L., passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre on October 14, 2017.
Ed was born in Buchans, NL on November 20th, 1942, to Agnes (Dwyer) and Louis Lyver.
Ed was predeceased by his wife Ann (Barry) Lyver, whom he was married to for 50 years.
He was also predeceased by his parents, his brother Tony Lyver, and his nephew Louis Lyver.
Ed worked for the Department of Public Works and Service until his retirement in 2001. After his retirement he enjoyed woodworking, movies, and a good game of cards.
He is survived by his children Brenda (Darrell) Griffin, and Paula (Richard) Reeves, and his siblings Beatrice (Tom) Chisholm of Aldergrove, B.C., Irene Ormrod of Chilliwack, B.C., Louis (Yvonne) Lyver of Gander, N.L., Gerry (Theresa) Lyver of Bishop's Falls, N.L., and Tom (Judy) Lyver of Buchans, N.L.
He will be fondly remembered by his grandkids Kyle, Nicole, Megan, Tyler, Tayler, Kaiti, and Noah, plus a large circle of nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will take place at a later date.
