RITA JESSIE SMITH
1936 – 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rita Smith announce her passing at her home in Springdale on November 7, 2017 at the age of 81. Rita was a member of the Springdale Pentecostal Church. She was predeceased by her husband Fred; parents, John & Marjorie Greenham and her sister Marie Hobbs. Left with fond and loving memories is her son Jamie Smith (Angel) of Kanata, On; daughters-Christine Russell (Keith) of Springdale, Elaine Elliott (Alfred) of South Brook, Connie Bonnier (Lyle) of Bowmanville, ON and Colette Tuck (Trevor) of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn are her siblings-Ruby Norman (Harvey), Pansey Clance (Philip), Melvin Greenham (Verna), Morris Greenham (Grace), Claude Greenham (Gail); 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren as well as many other relatives and friends. Pastor Lindsey Foster will conduct the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church in Springdale on Friday, November 10 at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery on Grant Avenue. Pallbearers are Julia Bonnier Forsey, Kylee Alyward, Andrew Smith, Keanne Russell, Reannen Bonnier Carreiro, Stacey Bonnier, Mikayla Tuck and Kyle Tuck. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
