ROY STOODLEY
1925 - 2017
Roy Stoodley – Passed peacefully away at the Gander Hospital on December 6, 2017.
Predeceased by his father, George; mother, Louisa; wife, Emily; brothers: John, Elic, Robert, Thomas, Maxwell; sisters: Louise, Ester, Annie, Eleanor, Mary, and Marion. Leaving to mourn his children: Sandra (Mercer), Ottawa; David (Sharon), GFW; Mary Lou (Mike Bessette), Port Colborne, Ontario; seven grandchildren (Jeremy, Krishna, Aaron, Sarah, Laura, Kherstin & Dorian) and four great grandchildren (Emerson, Mitchell, Jordyn & Connor); a number of nephews and nieces and a large circle of friends.
Following cremation, his remains will be resting at Central Funeral Homes, Grand Falls-Windsor (Saturday, December 9, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm). Funeral service to take place (Sunday, December 10, 2 pm) at Memorial United Church, Grand Falls-Windsor followed by a reception at the CE Centre. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to Memorial United Church or to a charity of one’s choice.
