Verna Pauline King (Upward)
Verna “Pauline” King (Upward) was born in Silverdale on September 25, 1933. She entered Heaven’s gates on January 2, 2018 after a short illness at the age of 84.

Pauline had an unwavering faith in God. Through many hardships in her life, she turned to her Lord and Saviour as her peace. She was a member of the United Church, Jackson’s Cove until her move to Springdale in late 2013. She attended various churches as it didn’t matter to her-the Lord was present in them all.
Pauline was predeceased by her loving husband William King (1983), her parents Ward & Sadie Upward, brother Calvin Upward, and beloved daughter Jean Pynn. Pauline is survived by her son Maurice King and his wife Marie of Silverdale, daughter Peggy Janes and husband Winston of Grand Falls-Windsor, Susan King and husband Patrick Chatman of Lloydminster, SK. and son in law Carl Pynn of Silverdale.
