Condolence From: Marilyn Sveinson (Pike)
Condolence: To Orville,The Reeves and Noseworthy families. I was so sad yesterday to hear about Olive. She was one of my first friends and lived "up the hill" from me.We shared many fun times as children and I spent a lot of time at the Noseworthy's . I loved all her little sisters as they came along and marvelled at how lucky she was ! I was also thrilled to spend time with them at their cabin in Northern Arm. As we grew, our lives took different paths and I haven't seen her over the years. I did stop in a few years ago and we had a fabulous visit. We laughed (a lot !), we cried,we reminisced . I thank God for that visit. Olive wasn't just an ordinary gem...she was a diamond. The heavens will have one very bright star now and you can be sure she will have all the angels laughing ! My deepest sympathy to Orville, her children , her sisters and families. RIP my Dear friend.

Condolence: Orville and Family, I am so deeply saddened to hear of Olive’s passing. This evening, as I watched the video of Olive and her family , I was moved to tears. That beautiful smile of hers never changed even through the challenges of ill health. I recall that smile from our teen years as we enjoyed some great times together—-sharing secrets, laughter, and many a failed diet.. My memories are of a kind , fun loving friend and a caring, supportive classmate. We have not had a lot of contact since high school but whenever I had the privilege of running into her we chatted just like old times. She remained the Olive that I loved and admired in high school.I can only imagine the pain that you are experiencing as you say goodbye to your wife, mother , and grandmother.I extend my deepest condolences to you all and pray that you will experience God’s peace . May you find comfort in the cherished memories you made over the years as you mourn your great loss. God Bless you .

Condolence From: Anthony
Condolence: Mrs.Reeves was a substitute teacher for my grade 2 class at NDA. She was one of the most positive, spirited and happy persons I had ever met (obviously I never forgot her). I can still see her now, short raven black hair, little pale with freckles, black strap watch, white blouse with small blue polka dots and the biggest smile you had ever seen. She was teaching us how to write a story but no one knew how to end it. For the ending, we all put down "then we ate supper and went to bed" which got her laughing quite a bit. Life is full of beginnings and endings but the impact of a loving person remains in peoples hearts forever. She's not gone too far, a good supper, content laughter and a little rest while she watches over her little ones. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Reeves family.

Condolence From: Lorraine and Cyril Folkes
Condolence: Orv, Roger, Richard and your families, Cyril and I are saddened by the news of Olive’s passing. A beautiful light has gone from the earth. Olive was a colleague of mine when she taught Kindergarten at Notre Dame Academy. She had a very special way with children... as my friend, Liz, and I often remarked....she would have the reluctant children eating from her hand in no time. She had a gift to which the rest of us could only aspire. So gentle, so kind, so empathetic, so talented, so everything! Please accept our sincerest condolences. Thinking of you all at this sad time for your family. Treasure the memories and hold on to all the good she has left behind. What a legacy!

Condolence From: Venessa Nichols
Condolence: Orv, Richard and Paula, Roger and Stephanie, words cannot express how deeply we are saddened by the news. Olive was the kindest and most cheerful person I have ever met. Her smile lit up every room she entered. She truly loved her family and friends and made you feel special and appreciated each time you met. She loved to reminisce and tell stories of precious times that were spent together at Badger Lake and would always have a story about Dad to share. I have many fond memories of our times together from artex painting, campfires and sing songs, weddings and anniversary parties. I am so glad I had a chance to visit with her over Christmas. We have lost a precious soul on earth but Bill Trask has one more of his buddies joining him in heaven.

Condolence: So sad to hear of Olive's passing. I first met her when she was a Kindergarten teacher at Notre Dame Academy. Some of us kids from the higher grades would go to her class after school and help out with cleaning the classroom. Decades later, we crossed paths again as we were both involved in adult literacy in Grand Falls-Windsor. She was such a kind and giving person and always went above and beyond to be of service. God speed, Mrs. Reeves.

Condolence: Orville, Richard and Roger, and the extended family. Liz and I are deeply saddened by Olive's passing. Ever since I met you and her in 1957, at GFA, we've been the closest of friends - sharing the joys of seeing our children come into this world and doing the university courses together, and spending some quality times together. She was an exceptional mother, grandmother, sister and wife. She was one of a kind, a shining light in everything she did. She was one of the finest teachers I ever knew. True and loyal friends are hard to come by, and to me, she was one of my best over the years. There is no greater complement than to say you were my friend! I shall miss her immensely, miss her laughter, her love of a joke and a good story, her love of life, and her great philosophy and support. Liz and I send our very best to you and yours. Our lives are greatly enriched by having the opportunity to know such a wonderful person.
