Obituary for Ralph Lloyd Mitchell

RALPH LLOYD MITCHELL
1935 – 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ralph Lloyd Mitchell announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on January 13, 2018 at the age of 82. Ralph retired from fishing and logging. He was predeceased by his parents Peter & Caroline Mitchell; brothers-Chesley, Herbert, George; sisters-Blanche, Hilda and Flossie. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Violet Mitchell; sons-Mervin Mitchell of Harry’s Harbour, Mackenzie Mitchell of Kitchener/Waterloo, Lyndon Mitchell of Harry’s Harbour; daughters-Tina Saunders of Corner Brook and Juanita Sharpe of New Brunswick. Also leaving to mourn are grandchildren-Mark Saunders, Breene Saunders, Stephanie Sharpe, Ben Dunn, Logan Dunn, Mary Dunn, Gage Flagg, Kasey-Lynn Mitchell; great grandchild Jace Sharpe; brothers-Woodrow (Lillian) Mitchell, Mackenzie (Marion) Mitchell, Reg (Jessie) Mitchell, Pearce (Maxine) Mitchell and Rex (Gloria) Mitchell; sisters-Judy (Albert) Bussey, Yvonne (Valance) Bussey, Bernice (Pleaman) Randell, Melvie (Harold) Bussey and Sheila (Phonse) Simms, brothers-in-law Wilmore (Jeanette) England and Michael (Sherry) England, and sister-in-law Evelyn (John) Daye. Major Lindsay Oxford will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Harry’s Harbour on Wednesday, January 17 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Interfaith Cemetery in Harry’s Harbour. Pallbearers are Pleman Randell, Robert England, Roger England, Pearce Mitchell, Reg Mitchell and MacKenzie Mitchell.
