It is with great sadness that the family of the late Daniel Neil Foley announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on March 11, 2018 at the age of 69. Dan was a member of the Green Bay Rod & Gun Club. He retired from the Town of Springdale in 2001 due to illness. Daniel was predeceased by his parents, William & Margaret; and brothers-Sylvester, Frank, Harry and Joe. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Glenys; sons Danny (Robyn) of CBS, Brian of Woodstock, NB and daughter-in-law Susan Hanlon of CBS. Also leaving to mourn are his brothers-Edward, Ben (Viola), Greg (Jeannie); sister, Mary King; brothers-in-law-Lyndon (Barbara), Ision (Patsy); sisters-in-law-Marg Foley of Badger, Darlene Roberts of Triton; his beloved grandchildren-Brady, Riley, Abbie, Claye, Shauna, Brycen; God Children-Raymond Foley and Patrick Edison as well as many extended family members and many wonderful friends. Major Lindsay Oxford will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Springdale on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
