CATHERINE (KAY) POWER
1922 - 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Catherine (Kay) Power announce her passing at the Palliative Care Unit of the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor on April 15, 2018 at the age of 95. Catherine was a housewife and stay-at-home mom. She is predeceased by her husband, James, parents, William and Agnes Ezekiel, brothers, Bill and Cyril Ezekiel, sisters, Mary Power, Marie O’Rielly, Agatha Hawco, and deceased members of the Ezekiel and Power families. Left with fond and loving memories are her daughter, Denise (Dean Nicol) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. She also leaves to mourn a large circle of family and friends. Father Joseph Uy will conduct the funeral service at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Grand Falls-Windsor, on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Interfaith Cemetery. Pallbearers are James Hawco, Dave Gardner, Rob Gardner, Isiah Simmons, Shannon Murray, and Ray Hawco. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mike Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
