Condolence: I am so shocked and saddened to just today learn of Diane's passing. My deepest condolences to her family and partner, Scottie.
My life was blessed with many years of her friendship and I have an abundance of great memories that will be forever
close to my heart. My friend, "Lady Di", was a fabulous lady and an absolute Angel. Gentle, kind , caring and so loving.
Rest easy Dear Friend

Condolence: Maureen, Bill and family,

Just noticed on the G.F funeral site that your mother passed away recently. Was that expected or not? I saw the name KELLY and when I checked it out, I realized it was your mother. We are so sorry to hear this news but I'm sure you have lots of wonderful memories to cherish in your heart, Death can't destroy them, thank goodness. Not sure where you're living now but we have moved to Winnipeg because Ed had a stroke May 1, 2014 and he was my caregiver for 20 yr. Our oldest son, Craig, lives here and he persuaded us to come live by him in a wonderful assisted living place, 10 min. from his home.

Would love to contact you again to reconnect. I'm on Facebook and if you are, we may connect that way.

Sincere sympathy to each of your family as you mourn the loss of a special lady in your life. Mothers are the glues that keeps a family together, I say.

Much love to you all
Daphne & ED

Condolence: To all who are left to mourn Diannes' passing.
To say I was shocked when I read of Diannes' passing is an understatement. Tom and I have known Dianne since Tom worked with Ern at the hospital. What a wonderful, kind, caring person she was to all who knew her. We loved her little poems and jokes she would write in her cards to us, since we moved away. Deepest condolences to all who knew and loved her. May she RIP.

Condolence: Sending my love from England. How I wish I could be there tomorrow to say goodbye. Aunt Dianne was always easy to spot, because she would always have a smile and a special laugh! She was full of love and had a huge heart.
I remember her always bringing a bag of treats from Grand Falls when I was little and all the walks we would go on together around the bay or wandering around Blackhead beach. She was always so patient and loving with such a kind and calm nature. I always looked forward to her letters and cards which were always so thoughtfully written and will certainly be missed. I will think of her often with fond memories and hope I can be as good of an aunt to my own niece as she was to me. All my love, Melissa.

"I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done." - Helen Lowrie Marshall

Condolence: I am still in shock that you are gone from this earth at such a young age. I feel like I have known you forever, especially working with you as a volunteer at Canadian Blood Services for many years. Diane you were always a bright light and that will never be diminished. Your smile every time I saw you would light up a room no matter what you were feeling or going through at the time. Thank you for all the compliments over the years, thank you for all the volunteer hours you worked, for attending our many events. You made a difference! The power of your quiet presence and demeanour will be missed by all of us. Shine on my love, you will be the brightest star ever. Keep guiding us in your positive attitude.
