It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Cavell Edith Whitty (Hayward) announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre on Friday, April 27, 2018, age 69, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her parents, Malcolm and Ivy (Young) Hayward; brothers, Harvey (Sadie) & Jim and Carl; sisters, Margaret (Stephen) Sharron and Audrey (Fred) Rice.
Leaving to mourn are her spouse, Wayne Boyd, children, Darren Whitty, Brian (Kimberley) Whitty, Dion Boyd, Cathy (Mark) Hewitt, and 6 grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn are her brothers, Pearley (Rose), Nathan (Vera), Wallace (Sheila); sister, Eileen (Charles) Vineham; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Hayward and Catherine Simpson, and many other relatives and friends.
Majors David and Wavey Chaulk will conduct the funeral service at the Salvation Army Citadel, Bishop’s Falls, NL on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 2:30pm. Pallbearers are Greg Vineham, Jeffrey Hayward, Dennis Sharron, Everett Rice, Jerry Boyd, and Lorne Boyd. Honorary pallbearers are Nathan Hayward and Mark Hewitt.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
