GORDON WARRICK WEIR
1936 – 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Warrick Weir announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on May 11, 2018 at the age of 81. Gordon was predeceased by his parents James & Elsie Weir; brothers- Eric, Roland, Reginald and his sister Dora. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Hazel, brothers Wilbert (Marie), Roy (Carol), sister, Avice Mesh and sisters in-law Marjorie Tucker, Vivian Oxford, Bernice Andrews and Marilyn Kidd. Brother in-law Neil Penney. As well as, sons-Walter (Debbie) of Islay, AB, Chris (Gladys) of Little Bay Islands, Rex (Mary-Ann) of Grand Falls-Windsor and Clarey (Tina) also of Grand Falls-Windsor. Also leaving to mourn are his grandchildren Noah, Leah, Zoe, Preston, Clarey Jr., Sebastian and step grandchildren-Mark and Kelly, as well as a long time friends Selby (Goldie) Parsons and family. Pallbearers are Walter Weir (son), Chris Weir (son), Rex Weir (son), Clarey Weir (son), Dean Weir (great-nephew) and Dion Weir (great-nephew). Majors Larry & Phyllis Fudge will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Springdale on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearers are Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
