RALPH EVERETT FOSTER
1942 - 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ralph Everett Foster announce his passing at his home in Badger, NL on May 20, 2018, at the age of 75. Ralph was a member of the Interdenominational Cemetery Committee, Chamber of Commerce, Deputy Governor - District 7, Zone 5 of Kinsmen Club of Canada, the President of Badger Kinsmen Club, a member of the Grand Falls Golf Course, manager of the Badger Bombers, chairperson of the Central Beothuck Hockey League, chairperson of the Exploits Valley Integrated School Board, and a member of the Badger Town Council, United Church Trustee Board of Badger, and the St. John Ambulance. He semi-retired from Y.E.S. Enterprises Ltd. He is predeceased by his parents, Maisie and Lloyd Foster, brothers, Tony and Kirk, and sisters, Trixie and Golda. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife, Yvonne Foster, son, Everett “Rick” (Joanne) of Badger, NL, grandson, “Joshua” Lloyd of Regina, SK, daughter, Stephanie Ann Eden (Timothy Kosmerl) of Erie, Colorado, and granddaughter, “Kelsey” Michelle of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Also leaving to mourn are his brothers, James (Viola) and Lloyd Jr. (Lisa), sisters, Phyllis (Don), Bonnie, Patsy (Boyd), Dale (Michael), and Joan (Miguel), all of his wonderful aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and the numerous amazing friends that he’s met on life’s journey, especially his two golfing buddies, Rick Howlett and Bob Croucher. May you both think of him as you tee off on the 11th hole. Rev. Lawrence Watkins will conduct the funeral service at the Central Funeral Homes Chapel on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place as per the family’s request. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
