ETHEL KNIGHT
1924 – 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Knight announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on June 4, 2018 at the age of 93.Ethel was a member of the United Church. She was predeceased by her husband Chester; daughter Janet Butt and sons-in-law Baxter Butt and Wes Robbins. Left with fond and loving memories is her sons-Milton (Sheila) of Medicine Hat, AB, Selby (Diane) of Jackson’s Cove, Morley (Bert) (Denise) of Harry’s Harbour, Carl (Valerie) of Blaketown; daughters-Ruth (Alick Young) of Jackson’s Cove, Betty Robbins of Springdale, Myra Knight of Chester Basin, NS, Ruby (Dave Saunders) of Jackson’s Cove and Dianne (Martha) (Dave Andrews) of Jackson’s Cove. Also leaving to mourn are 14 grandsons, 11 granddaughters, 9 great grandsons, 15 great granddaughters, 1 great great granddaughter and close friend Winifred Strong. Major Gerald Lacey will conduct the funeral service from the United Church in Jackson’s Cove on Thursday, June 7 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the United Cemetery in Jackson’s Cove. Pallbearers are Jimmy Robbins, Mike Butt, Morley Knight, Milton Saunders, Marc Knight, Charles Knight.
