Condolences

Condolence From: Gerry Smith
Condolence: My sincere condolences to the Harnum and Tilley family. Especially Jim and his children. I remember Jim well (My recollection - think he worked with a drilling company - Sprague and Henwood ???)

I also remember the Tilley family very well. Jean was obviously one of the older children because I remember her vaguely - I guess because of our age difference..

The Tilley family were very nice people and they basically lived on the same street as I did growing up (we shared a garbage pick –up street ) I remember Jean’s brothers because I got to know them very well through my time working in the ASARCO warehouse fulfilling parts requisitions that kept the company operations going. All good guys. I knew Charlie well – probably because I was closer to his age.

And I actually bought “doilies” crochet “thingies” from Warrick for our coffee tables (big, muscular Warrick,) scary to look at, but another nice guy.

Jim, I remember you also, as this deeply tanned, muscular guy but an extremely friendly person with a perpetual smile on your face. No doubt Jean had a lot to do with that.

Life sucks when you lose someone near and dear to you and you are the only one that knows how it feels. But, a little later, you remember the good times and you realize how fortunate you were and how lucky you have been.

Again, I express my deepest sympathy, to you Jim - Bob, Daphne, Jimmy and Tammy, on the passing of your beloved wife and mother, you were so fortunate to have her in your life for so long. Cherish your memories: and honor and carry on her legacy expressed over and over here in previous condolences.
RIP Jean. You were loved.
