EARNEST RAYMOND WEIR
1940 – 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Earnest Weir announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center in Grand Falls, Windsor on June 30, 2018 at the age of 78. Raymond retired from E,S&A Robinson in Toronto after 33 years of service and shortly thereafter returned to Newfoundland. He was predeceased by his parents, Charles (Charlie) Weir & Edna Weir (nee Rice); and sister Donna (Don). Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Bessie; and sons-Tony (Tracy) of Denver, Colorado, Terry (Kelly) of Scugog, Ontario and Tim (Stacey) of Bowmanville, Ontario. Also leaving to mourn are grandchildren-Hayley, Alec, Hope and Jackson; step grandchildren-Paige, Shelby, Cassie, Kayla and Austin; brothers and sisters-Eileen (Ron), Pierce, Rose (Gord), Shirley, Roy (Roseanne), Marilyn (Wycliff), Eugene and Wayne (Pauline) as well as a large range of family and friends. Major Lindsay Oxford will conduct the funeral service from Central Funeral Homes in Springdale on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 11:00 am. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
