1928 - 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruby Lulu Hann (Head) announce her passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on June 21, 2019 at the age of 91. Ruby was a member of the United Church of Canada. She is predeceased by her husband, Edwin, sisters, Lillian Fisher, Louise McCarthy, Marie Head, and Maise Miller, and brother, Clayton Head. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons Terry (Alvina) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, and Edwin (Joanne) of Kentucky, USA, and daughter, Mary (Robert) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Also leaving to mourn are her sister, Margaret Dawe (Mac), brothers, Woodrow Head, Harvey Head (Imelda), and Frederick Shea (Shirley), grandchildren, Terry Jr. Hann, Trevor Hann, Deidre Philpott, and Robyn Folkes, and great-grandchildren, Jessica Gaudette, Milayna Hann, Malachi Hann, Grace Philpott, and Mack Philpott. Rev. Kim Waite will conduct the funeral service at the Memorial United Church in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Terry Hann, Harvey Head, Frederick Shea, Bob Folkes, Mary Folkes, and Maxwell Snelgrove. Flowers gratefully accepted by the family, or donations may be made in her memory to the Lionel Kelland Hospice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
