Obituary for Georgina Ann Hedges (Budgell)
DR. GEORGINA ANN HEDGES
1946 - 2019
Passed peacefully away in the Palliative Care Unit at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL - Dr. Georgina Ann Hedges, age 73.
Predeceased by her father, Clarence Budgell, mother, Elsie Budgell (nee Haliwell), and sister, Catherine.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her loving husband, Bob, of 51 years, her loving little companion, Sophie, and brother-in-law, Joseph Wolfe, of Nova Scotia, as well as a large number of family and very close friends.
A special thank you to her niece, Daphne, Barbara and husband, Harris, nephew, Bruce, Dr. Jared Butler and wife, Amy, as well as the staff of 3A, 3B, the Carmelite House, and Dr. Lynette Powell.
As per Georgina’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, July 22, 2019 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Anglican Chapel in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, with funeral service being held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
Flowers gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Georgina’s memory to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church or the Exploits Valley SPCA. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
