Velma Audrey Kelley
August 28,1928 to December 18, 2016

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Velma Audrey Kelley announce her passing at the Valley Vista Senior Home in Springdale on December 18, 2016 at the age of 88 yrs old.
Born in Hampton NL on Aug 28, 1928. Lived there till she was 5 yrs old then moved to Burlington, where she lived until she was 22 when she married William Kelley. She moved to Harry's Harbour for a few years until they settled in Silverdale. She was a stay at home mom to 5 children and many others from the neighborhood.
Predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Minnie Rideout, husband William, son Earl, son-in-law Ron, sister Verna.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons George (Iris), Chris (Anita), daughters Barb (Ron deceased), Rose (Dave), daughter-in-law Sandra (Earl deceased); Eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one great- great- grandchild. Sisters Rhoda and Vida, brother Edgar. Large number of extended family and friends.
