James Aloysius O’Reilly
1926-2008

It is with great sadness that the family of the late James O’Reilly announce his passing in his home in Bishop’s Falls on November 6, 2008 at the age of 82. James was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish. He retired from CNR in 1986 after 43 years of service. Jim is predeceased by his parents Frances and Joseph O’Reilly, brothers Ambrose and Patrick, sister Lena. Left with fond and loving memories are wife Hilda; sons Dennis (ann) of St. John’s, Alan (Daphne) of Clarenville; daughter Carolann (Mike) Cohen of Grand Falls-Windsor. Also left to mourn are grandsons Kristopher, Brian, Mark O’Reilly, Michael Cohen, granddaughter Heather O’Reilly and great grandson Jonathan O’Reilly; brother Michael and sister Frances Goulding and a large circle of relatives and friends. Father Linus Coady conducted the funeral mass at the Sacred Heart Church in Bishop’s Falls on November 8, 2008. Interment was at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Grand Falls-Windsor. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mike Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
