Condolence From: Carla Lowther & Mike McMullin
Condolence: We just heard of Joc's passing when talking to a friend from cadets tonight. Such a loss for the cadet community as well as everyone else who was fortunate enough to know her. An amazing woman who made my first years as a staff member at Camp Argonaut memorable in many ways. She will be sorely missed.

Condolence From: Linda and Dennis Lush
Condolence: Mark and the French and Lane families: It was with sadness that we learned of Jocelyn's passing. Having worked with Jocelyn for 15 years at the old Carmanville School Complex (CSC), we have many fond memories of Jocelyn. Dennis remarked that he can't ever remember her being anything but pleasant and jovial at all times and in all situations...and her laugh! It was a constant every single day, her crowning glory, and her hallmark trait. We can all hear it now! I personally owe a debt of gratitude to Jocelyn; she introduced an English teacher to a whole new genre of literature. After undergoing several surgeries back-to-back, Jocelyn always asked Dennis how I was doing and he invariably replied, "Bored to death." She took it upon herself to courier hundreds of books from Carmanville South to Frederickton from her personal library. And she really did have her own library! I still remember making trips to Carmanville South to "check out books" from the Library of Jocelyn. I don' t want to be presumptuous, but I would think that all the staff of CSC would collectively agree regarding our fondest and most notable memory of Jocelyn. After all the famous or infamous Christmas concerts at CSC, the entire staff would wait in anticipation for Jocelyn. It was like waiting for staff room royalty. " Queen Jocelyn" would finally enter, carrying her sceptre: a huge tray of special treats. The laughter and comraderie she engendered made a memory of a lifetime. It has yet to be surpassed in staff room circles. Many young teachers would be privileged to have such an easy-going and understanding colleague. Rest easy, Jocelyn. May you wrap the angels at the gates of heaven in your laughter and they wrap and hold you in their wings. God speed. Linda and Dennis Lush

Condolence From: Frank Hiscock
Condolence: Dear Terry(Frenchie)and family. I was so sorry to hear about Jocelyn's passing. Please accept my deepest sympathy. I remember her well from many years ago when we were teenagers, and Grand Falls was a magical place for us. Jocie was an integral part of it all. I can still hear her great laughter, and enjoyed her company as everybody did. She was always smiling. I particularly remember coming back from Corner Brook in Keith Lewis' convertible with Elaine Dawe and Jocie, one summer day,all the way with the top down, sun shining, wind blowing our hair, and great music turned up,just blaring. What a time! We laughed and laughed, all the way. Jocie had a lust for life and made people around her happy to be with her. May God Love Her and May God Bless You and all her family in your hour of sorrow. Sincerely, Frank.

Condolence From: Theresa Feltham(Wheaton)
Condolence: Sorry to hear of Jocelyn's passing. I have memories of seeing her at school, coached in cheerleading, and making sure our grand March for graduation was perfect. These are great, but I was lucky to get to call her "family ". We shared many Sunday dinners at the cabin, ski-do rides, borrow from her "GRAND " book collection, and share special occasions. So that's why I call her family. She was loved, appreciated and will be missed. I will always think of her when I see Diet Coke and fuzzy slippers. Rest Easy with Billy. Much love, thoughts and sympathies to all her families. Theresa, Leighton, Hillary and Hailey
