It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Linda (Keeping) Janes announce her sudden passing at their cottage in Buchans on August 23, 2016 at the age of 49 years. Born in St. John's on June 15, 1967, Linda was a dedicated wife and hockey Mom. She was a teacher by profession and also volunteered with Scouts Canada as a Head Leader with the Beavers.

She was predeceased by her father Clarence Keeping and her mother-in-law Majorie Janes. Left with warm and loving memories are her husband Terry and son Aaron (at home). Also left to mourn are her mother, Sylvia Keeping and her sister Sandra (Alan) Batten of Moncton, NB, brother-in-law Donnie Janes of British Columbia, sister-in-law Rosemary (Eric) Adams and brother-in-law Bill (Barb) Janes both of Grand Falls-Windsor, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.

Rev. Randy Lockyer will conduct the funeral service at the Holy Trinity Anglician Church on Saturday, August 27th at 2:00pm. Interment will be at the Anglician Cemetery. Pallbearers are Alan Batten, Mark Blackwood, Rod Drake, Bill Janes, Wade Lane & Shawn Osmond.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes.
