It is with great sadness that the family of the late Allan Noah Chippett announce his passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on November 4, 2022 at the age of 86. Allan was a member of Evangel Pentecostal Tabernacle in Grand Falls-Windsor for the past 30 years, and previous to that, a very active member of Abundant Life Pentecostal Church, Leading Tickles. Allan retired from fishing in 1989 after 41 years. Predeceased by his father Cecil Chippett; mother Lydia (Cassell) Chippett; stepmother Alma (Noseworthy) Chippett; son Owen; son-in-law Victor Rowsell; and brother Perry Chippett. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Gleason (Haggett) Chippett; sons Fabian (Eileen), Sheldon (Nola), Darryl (Valerie), and Stephen (Vickie); and daughter Colleen Rowsell; along with 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn his sister Mabel Peddle, and brothers George, Hadwood, Kirby, and Hazen. Pastor Marvin Burton will conduct the funeral service at Evangel Pentecostal Tabernacle in Grand Falls-Windsor on November 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery. Pallbearers are brothers George Chippett, Hadwood Chippett, Kirby Chippett, and Hazen Chippett; grandson Jordan Chippett; and friend Matthew Rasch.
