LIFE STORY
Amos was a fisherman for most of his life but also spent some time in the lumber woods in his late teens and early twenties. He married the love of his life, Yvonne, at the age of 22, and they raised their family of three in Beaumont, by the ocean's edge. Amos was also known for his boat building and carpentry skills, his workmanship was meticulous. His firewood pile and splits where packed so neatly, it was often said that you could wallpaper them without a ripple showing. He provided for his family and always encouraged us to do our best.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has already taken place. His ashes, along with his wife's, Yvonne's, will be buried at the Beaumont United Church Cemetery at a later date.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and the team at Central Funeral Homes.

A very special thank-you goes out to the wonderful staff at Springdale Retirement Centre for the excellent care they provided during his stay there.

Dad

He never looked for praise
He was never one to boast
He just went on quietly working
For those he loved the most

His dreams were seldom spoken
His wants were very few
And most of the time
His worries went unspoken too

He was there...
A firm foundation
Through all the storms of life
A sturdy hand to hold on to
In time of stress and strife

A true friend we could turn to
When times were good or bad
One of our greatest blessings
This man we called our Dad
