1961 - 2021
Passed peacefully away at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; Baxter Neil Dicks, formerly of Langdon’s Cove, but residing in Grand Falls-Windsor, at the age of 60 years.
He is predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Sarah Dicks of Langdon’s Cove; sisters, Mavis Prowse and Juanita Norman; and brother, Sidney Dicks. He leaves to mourn his daughter, Melissa Dicks of Ontario; sons, Michael of Ontario, and Brandon (Ashley) of Grand Falls-Windsor; stepson, Brady Sheppard of Grand Falls-Windsor; mother of his children, Darlene Sheppard of Badger; 5 grandchildren, especially his pride and joy, his grandson Noah and granddaughter Lacey. Also leaving to mourn are his 7 brothers, 3 sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
Public visitation will take place on Sunday, November 21, from 2-4 & 7-9 at Central Funeral Homes Chapel in Grand Falls-Windsor.
Major Fred Pond will conduct the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 22 from Central Funeral Homes Chapel in Grand Falls-Windsor. Interment will take place in Jacksons Cove.
