It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernice Muriel Hancock announce her passing at the A.M. Guy Memorial Hospital in Buchans on March 7th 2023 at the age of 84. Bernice was a member of the Salvation Army.
Predeceased by her parents Milton and Geneva Perry and husband Brymer Hancock.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons; David (Pam) Hancock of Enfield, Nova Scotia, Mike (Michelle) of Phillips Head, and daughter; Sharon (Rob) Vaters of Buchans.

Also leaving to mourn are her siblings; Fred (Hilda) Budgell, Mont (Shirley) Budgell, Calvin (Carolyn) Budgell, Deloris Patey, Carmella Dennis, and Daisy Budgell; grandchildren; Terry (Kennedy), Tiffany (Sandy), Ashley (Isaac), Chad (Marissa), and Joshua; and great-grandchildren; Amber and Lucy. Also left to mourn with fond and loving memories are a large circle of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and special friends.

Major Betty-Lou Topping will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Buchans Corps on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.

Pallbearers are David Hancock, Chad Hancock, Rob Vaters, Sandy Chippett, Paul Pittman, and Mike Kennedy.
Honorary pallbearer is Albert Locke.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
