Obituary for Beryl Marie Clarke (Locke)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Beryl Marie Clarke announces her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors’ Home in Springdale, on January 11, 2023, surrounded by family. She was 93.
Beryl was a member of the Springdale Salvation Army Citadel. Beryl loved her family and spent her years caring for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and whoever entered her home.
Predeceased by her husband Desmond, parents Archibald and Emmaline Locke, brothers Cyril, Chesley, Reginald and Harvey, sisters Rowella, Greta and Marjorie, son Clyde, son-in-law Boyce and daughter-in-law Gladys.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sons: Lorne (Gladys) of Springdale, Keith (Judy) of Springdale, Rick (Trudy) of Springdale, Duane (Sherry) of Paris, Ontario and Byron (Jennifer) of Plattsville, Ontario; daughters Netta (Boyce Croucher) of South Brook and Fern (Wayne Wellman) of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; brother Lester Locke along, with many other dear family and friends.
Majors Joshua & Pauline Randell will conduct a celebration of life service at the Springdale Salvation Army Citadel. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Springdale.
