Condolence: To Betty's family,

So sorry to hear about your mom and even more sorry that I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to her. I was out of town on the day of her service but I have thought about her so often in the past while. She was a really sweet lady who was loved by all who knew her. She will always be remembered as one of the sweetest teachers ever. Keep her memory in your hearts and she will be with you always. May she rest in peace.

Teresa

Condolence: Dear John, Neil,Joanne and Patti,
I was saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. I have many found memories of her.
I attribute her as one of the influential teachers to instill my love of reading. In most recent years while she volunteered at the hospital gift shop on Friday evenings, every second Friday when I worked I would always pay a visit for a chat about our favourite things our family, travel and books. She even put me on to a few good thrillers ( a genre I tend to shy away from). Myself and Barry also loved her love of all things Irish. We shared a scuff and a shally with your mom at the Ryan’s annual Paddy’s day parties. Her impish grin and raspy infectious laugh will be remembered fondly

Condolence: Thinking of all of you as you remember and honour your mom over these few days-I know the gatherings of people who loved her will buoy you as you share happy memories through the sadness. I cherish our summer visits over the last 5 years-Aunt Betty was funny, wise and humble. We had great day trips and enjoyed meals and chats. I will be watching 'Vera' tomorrow morning in her honour-and appreciating the blessing of having had her in my life.

Condolence: To the family,
My condolences on hearing of Betty's passing. Betty and I were classmates at MSVU. We shared many a laugh at the time but the best ones were when she returned to Halifax for our 50th anniversary and we relived the years we spent there. I have wonderful memories of her and sincerely hope your good memories are a support during this time.
Odette
