Obituary for Carlton Vincent Coombs

CARLTON VINCENT COOMBS
1939 – 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Carlton Vincent Coombs announce his passing at his home in Springdale on February 21, 2019 at the age of 79. Carl retired from fishing. He was predeceased by his common-law wife Lillian; his parents and his brother Gilbert. Left with fond and loving memories is his companion Mae Coombs; his sons-Curt (Kathy) Coombs of Springdale and Draper (Jennifer) Hynes of New Brunswick; daughters-Anita Wells (Edmund) of Springdale and Yvonne Pilgrim (Brian) of Grand Falls-Windsor; stepsons-Wayne Hynes and Brian Hynes; step-daughters-Donna Hynes, Sandra Rafferty, Juanita Lounsbury and Debbie Pine. Also leaving to mourn are grandchildren-Tyson, Natalie, Danielle, Chantelle, Janelle, Jaden, Blakley, Lance and Lesley Ann; great grandchildren-Karlie, Gavin, Callie, Bentley, Aubree, Landon and Lacey; a number of step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; brothers-Charlie (Daisy), Ross (Betty), Harvey and Lewis; sisters-Wavey (Melvin) Pelley, Shirley Norman and Maisie Power; special friends Blanche & Jerry Leeco as well as a large circle of family and friends. Pastor Jamie Rowsell will conduct the funeral service from the Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle in Beachside on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment will be at the Anglican Cemetery in Coffee Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
