Obituary for Charlotte Melinda Burton
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Charlotte Burton announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Centre in Springdale, NL on February 21, 2024 at the age of 65. Charlotte was a member of the Salvation Army Church.
She is predeceased by her father Samuel Coles and mother Dollis Coles. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Bruce Burton, son Clayton Hewlett (Melanie McCarthy) of Harbour Grace, NL; daughters Amanda Hewlett of Arnold’s Cove, NL and Melinda Chippett (Dwayne Chippett) of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; and stepdaughters Jaynee Burton (Kevin Feltham) of Hare Bay, NL and Jacqueline Burton of Scarborough, ON.
Also leaving to mourn are her sisters Josephine Thomas (Art), Eva Vincent (Clarence); grandchildren Kathlyn, Kevin, Jordan, Joshua; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Major Randell will conduct the funeral service from Central Funeral Homes, Springdale on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Michele Janes of Central Funeral Homes.
