Obituary for Collin Burton

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Collin Burton announce his passing at Lloydminster, AB on December 1, 2023 at the age of 67. Collin was a member of the Apostolic Faith, South Brook. He retired from Upper Lakes Shipping due to a workplace accident on November 22, 1995.


Collin was predeceased by:
Parents: Pleman and Pheobie Burton
Sisters: Effie Reid, Marie Burton and Joyce Burton
Brother: Eric Burton

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories:
Wife: Patricia Burton of South Brook, NL
Son: John (Bethany) of Bonnyville, AB;
Daughters: Linda (Sean Carson) of Streamstown, AB and Amber (Trent Smith) of Lloydminster, AB

Collins also leaves to mourn:
Brothers: Bruce, George, Cecil, Gideon, Glen and Ron
Sisters: Mamie, Flossie, Judy and Anetta
Grandchildren: Nate and Olivia Buron, Tucker and Tori Smith and Irelyn Carson
Father and Mother-in-law, a large number of sisters and brothers-in-law
Special mention of Nicholas and Zachary Newman
As well as a very large number of family and friends

Pastor Eric Compton will conduct the funeral service at the South Brook Apostolic Church on Sunday, December 10 at 11 am with interment to follow at the South Brook Apostolic Cemetery. Pallbearers are: son, John Burton and brothers, Brue Burton, George Burton, Cecil Burton, Gideon Burton, Glen Burton and Ron Burton.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to ken Goodyear of Springdale Central Funeral Home.
