Obituary for Dianne Elsie Osmond (MacLean)
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dianne Elsie Osmond, age 64, of St. Patrick’s, NL announces her passing from the Central NL Regional Hospital, on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
Dianne was born on February 3, 1956 in Springdale to Roy and Josie MacLean. Dianne grew up in Springdale and after graduating high school she attended MUN where she studied to be a teacher. She spent her entire teaching career at R.W. Parson’s Academy, in Robert’s Arm.
While teaching, Dianne met the love of her life, Max Osmond. They were married on June 13, 1981. They had a wonderful life together caring for each other and their many animals. Dianne thoroughly enjoyed her horses, donkey, cats and dogs. She also loved to read.
She was predeceased by her parents Roy and Josie MacLean. Harry and Gladys Osmond, parent in-laws. Jessie Peters sister-in-law.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband Max Osmond. Sisters Joan (Lorne) Rowsell and Gaye Rice. Brother-in-law Bob (Betty) Osmond, sisters-in-law Joan (Cluney) Penney and Sandy (Kevin) Slade, and many special nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Dianne will be missed by her family and friends but not forgotten. “Ever remembered, ever loved. Forever in our hearts.”
